Clare hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald says he's confident the freshness in the squad will lead to newly energised Banner side in 2016.
The year gets underway properly on Sunday when Offaly make the trip to Cusack Park for the first round of the Allianz National Hurling League Division 1B.
Fitzgerald will be without Tony Kelly, Patrick Donnellan and Seadna (SHANE A) Morey for the clash through injury, while Podge Collins will also have to wait to make his reappearance in the team.
The 2013 All Ireland winning manager will be joined by Donal Og Cusack and Paul Kinnerk on the line on Sunday, and Fitzgerald says the new additions have made their presence felt.
