Daly gets ready to meet native county in Croker

Dublin hurling manager Anthoy Daly has backed his side to recover from their Lenister defeat to Kilkenny ahead of tomorrow’s All Ireland Qualifer against  Clare in Croke Park.

Dublin were beaten by the  All Ireland champions in the provincial semi final while Clare suffered a  similar fate in their match in Munster last month.

The former Clare boss says there is no presusure on his side after the defeat to Kilkenny:

Tomorrows meeting will be the first time that Daly and Clare boss Ger O Loughlin cross swords on the sidelines with a place in the next stage of the All Ireland  series at stake.

Meanwhile the finishing touches are being put to the Clare minor sides preparations for Sunday’s Munster final against Waterford.

Clare take on their first round opponents bidding to claim only the county’s third ever minor title at provincial level.
