Clare Cyclist To The Fore In Online Cycling League

A Clare cyclist has been continuing her winning streak from the safety of her own home.

Imogen Cotter, from Ruan, has been taking part in the Cycling Ireland Zwift League every Saturday against other cyclists all competing online through virtual avatars.

The cyclists all pedal on stationary bikes at home, which are hooked up to a turbo trainer which powers their online characters in the online platform Zwift. The cyclists themselves are wearing heart rate monitors to prevent cheating.
