Clare’s county GAA grounds could see its capacity increased by thousands.
Cusack Park will accomodate a maximum of around 14,500 fans for this year’s Championship matches, especially in the Munster Hurling Championship games against Waterford and Limerick.

However, the county board is looking for permission to expand this capacity after the extensive works carried out there in recent years.
A decision is expected in the coming days, although it won’t take affect until 2019, and County Board Chairman Joe Cooney says he is hopeful it’ll lead to a major jump in the number of supporters they can take:
