Works are underway in Cusack Park on a €2.3 million euro facelift, with the roof of the main stand almost removed, and it was expected to be off limits until construction was completed.
However, next weekends third round fixtures have provisionally been set there while the board say they hope it also hosts the county quarter finals next month.
A final decision is expected when the fixtures committee meet next Monday night.
