Clare Under 21 Joint manager Gerry O’Connor says their success will feed into the senior panel as they prepare for their All Ireland Final replay against Cork on Saturday Week.
Following their comprehensive victory over Antrim on Saturday night, the 14 senior panelists went straight to a recovery pool session, and were back with the senior’s yesterday morning.
O’Connor says the feel good factor will be there in the senior camp now too.
Gerry’s co manager Donal Maloney has praised Aaron Cunningham’s focus on rehab and his ability to return to action just three weeks after picking up a hamstring tear.
The Wolfe Tones club man, who is another senior panelist, missed out on a starting place, but was brought on and finished on the field of play for their back to back title victory.
Maloney admits they were a little apprehensive about how much time to give him but says he came through without aggravating the injury.
