County champions Crusheen recorded their first win of the new campaign with a 1-14 to 1-11 win over Clooney Quin last evening in Cusack park.
The Canon Hamilton holders were made work for the win having trailed at half time 7 points to 5.

Manager Michael Browne felt his side did just enough to deserve the win:
St Joseph’s Doorabarefield beat Killanena by 3-10 to 0-10,Cratloe overcame Scariff 16 points to 0-10, and Clonlara edged Broadford by 2-13 to 0-14.
Corofin beat Ogonello in the intermediate championship by 13 points to 11.
