The Bricks, who finished the game with 13 men, led at half time by 0-7 to 1-1 with the Cratloe goal coming from Cathal McInerney.

The champions struck for two quickfire goals after the restart, and led by 3-3 to 0-7 after 40 minutes.

Kilmurry refused to wilt and Johnny Daly converted a penalty before Niall Hickey goaled to cut the gap to two.

Cratloe showed why they have dominated Clare club football in the last two years by finishing the game off through a John Galvin goal, running out six point winners

O'Currys won bragging rights in the west of the county as they beat neighbours Kilkee by 2-8 to 0-5.

They led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the break, but two second half strikes from Jim Downes and Eoin Troy saw them comfortable winners of this derby.

Kilrush were the final name into the hat this weekend as they beat St Josephs Doora Barefield by 3-8 to 1-7.
