Cratloe center back Conor Ryan says they are now where they wanted to be at the start of 2014.
The Clare champions qualified for the Munster Club Hurling Semi Final with a 3-7 to 1-10 win over Ballygunner of Waterford in Walsh Park.
They led by two four to two points at half time, with Conor McGrath bagging both goals, but the Deise outfit reduced that gap to the minimum with strong second half performance.
A goal seven minutes from time by Cathal McInerney swung the game back in Cratloe's favour, and they closed the game out to seal the win.
They now play the Tipperary champions in the semi final on November 9th in Cusack Park.
There's three games down for decision locally this afternoon.
Cratloe will be looking to continue their successful season when they take on Clarecastle in the Junior B Football Final.
That one underway in Shannon at 2pm.
There' also two games in the U21 Football Championship.
In the A division, Ennistymon take on defending champions Eire Óg. That throws in at 2pm in Cooraclare.
In the B, Killimer meet Corofin. That one underway in Lissycasey at 2pm.
Clondegad booked their spot in the U21 A football semi finals last evening with a 1-12 to 0-7 win over Cooraclare.
They now meet the winners of this afternoons game between Eire Og and Ennistymon.
Elsewhere, Clare look to defend their Munster U17 Daryl Darcy title this evening when they take on Tipperary in this years final.
The sides met in the opening round with the Premier just edging a one point win.
The game is underway in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick at 7pm.
