Danny Rouine scored Ennistymon’s second-half consolation goal could do nothing to bridge the gap to the Blues, and the game finished up 3-13 to 1-10.

After that, Doonbeg and Clondegad met again in the quarter finals, two weeks after their tie in Kilmihil.

It seemed like the game could be going to extra time until Gary Brennan hit the back of the net with a last second penalty and sent Clondegad to the last four.

The final score in Kilmihil was Clondegad 1-11, Doonbeg 0-11.
