County Board to ratify management for under-age teams

Tonight’s Clare County Board meeting is set to see the ratification of the final Clare underage managment teams for 2013

Eamon Fennessy is set to remain on as manager of the minor hurlers, with Cooraclare’s Joe Garry set to take helm of Clare’s Under-21 footballers. 

Tonight’s Clare GAA meeting will be the last before Convention next month and is also set to be chairman Michael’s O Neill’s final full board meeting before his five year term ends in December.

Joe Garry of Cooraclare is likely to be ratified as manager of the county’s Under-21 footballers, having been linked with the job in recent days.  Kilkee’s Ger Keane, a member of Mick O’Dwyer’s senior football management set-up, is set to be involved as a selector.

Meanwhile, Eamon Fennessey is set to be remain on as Clare minor hurling manger having led the county to their third Munster final in a row this year.

However the Sixmilebridge man is set to bring in at least two new backroom members to his set up for the 2013 season. 
The vacant position of Clare Junior Football manager may also be filled at this evening’s meeting, which gets underway at the West County Hotel at 8:00.
