County Board Respond To Comyn Resignation

The Clare County board are to meet with members of the senior panel, following the shock resignation of county manager Noelle Comyn this weekend.

Speaking to Clare FM today, county chairman Alan Copley dismissed any notion of player power, saying that he views the situation as ‘normal group dynamics’ which ‘would be expected in a high pressure environment.’

Copley also said that time is of the essence with regards a replacement manager, even though the process will not be rushed.

Clare’s next competitive outing is their Munster Championship clash with Cork at the end of next month.
