The development of Cusack Park proved one of the major talking points at last night's meeting of the Clare County Board, amid claims that stadium is 'a kip'.

Disappointment was expressed at this description of the county grounds, aired on the national airwaves on Monday, following Clare's clash with Kilkenny the day before.
The meeting was given presentations on a development proposal being put to Croke Park in the coming months, which includes plans to upgrade the Ennis stadium and complete works at the Tulla Complex.
Delegates also asked if an entirely new seated stand would be considered for Cusack Park, and County Board Secretary Pat Fitzgerald says it is included in their plans, but would require major works.
