County Board Chair Says Duggan And Hayes Citings Were ‘Unfair’ As Duo Cleared To Play

The Chair of the Clare County Board says Peter Duggan and Rory Hayes’ retrospective bans following the Munster hurling final were ‘unfair’.

It’s after both Peter Duggan and Rory Hayes were cleared to play in Saturday’s All Ireland quarter final against Wexford following a successful appeal heard last night.

Both players are believed to have been redeemed on a technicality, after the CCCC had served notice of their proposed bans following a review of incidents highlighted on the The Sunday Game.
