The manager of the Whitegate hurlers is warning his side will face one of their toughest tests in this weekends second round of the Clare Senior Championship.
The east Clare side produced the shock of the opening round when beating 2014 champions Cratloe, and now take on Eire Óg with a quarter final place on offer for the victors.

The former All Ireland champions were relegated to the intermediate ranks in recent years, but bounced back to gain promotion last season before winning their opening round of this years campaign.
They now take on roll of honour leaders Newmarket this weekend with the winners booking their spot in the quarter finals.
McMahon says while he feels they’re well prepared for the game, they won’t know until the ball is thrown in.
