Feakle and Sixmilebridge are putting the last plans in place for Sunday’s TUS senior hurling final in Cusack Park.
It will be a historic occasion as the sides do battle on the biggest day for the first time.
Feakle have not featured on final day since 1988, which was also the last time they won the championship.
Captain Oisín Donnellan says they know the challenge that is coming down the line.
Meanwhile Sixmilebridge are hoping to end a four year wait for another Canon Hamilton title.
2020 was their last championship success, with the Bridge having taken out holders Clonlara and a much fancied Inagh-Kilnamona team in the knockout stages.
Captain Jamie Shanahan says they have been enjoying the progression made so far this year, but are motivated to finish the job on Sunday
Throw in on Sunday in Cusack Park is at 3pm with commentary on Clare FM with Peppers Bar and Restaurant Feakle
