Countdown Begins To Start Of Clare’s Intercounty Hurling Season

Clare’s 2024 intercounty hurling season gets underway in just over three weeks time.

Brian Lohan’s side will face All Ireland champions Limerick in Sixmilebridge on Wednesday January 10th in the opening round of the Co-Op Superstores Munster Senior Hurling League.

There are new faces among the management team as 2013 All Ireland winner and two time All Star Brendan Bugler and former county man Tommy Corbett join the set up

One of those hoping to get a sustained run of games is the Banner’s Shane Meehan, who says he’s enjoying being involved with the county panel.

Clare’s second game in the Munster Senior Hurling League will be against Cork in Pairc ui Rinn on Sunday January 14th, with the final set for Sunday 21st.
