Clare's Enda Coughlan says the confidence of the new players in their panel has revitalized the entire panel.
The Munster Football and Hurling championships are officially launched at an event in King Johns Castle in Limerick this evening as the countdown is on for both banner squads ahead of highly anticipated campaigns, the hurlers off the back of All Ireland success, the footballers having secured their league promotion goal.
Colm Collins blooded several young players during their successful league campaign, and Kilmurry Ibrickane Club man Coughlan admits these players who know nothing but positives in the senior jersey have boosted the set up.
Coughlan also says that the onus is on the so called weaker counties to improve their performances ahead of the seeded Munster Football championship.
The decision made last September means Kerry and Cork are on opposite sides of the semi final draw, and saw Clare, Tipperary, Waterford and Limerick withdrawing in protest from this years McGrath Cup.
The Kilmurry Ibrickane clubman says the decision to abandon the open draw doesn’t mean much to the Clare camp at this stage.
