Clare minor football manager Dermot Coughlan felt his sides slow start to the game was their downfall as Limerick came out on top of the Munster championship clash.
Two goals inside the opening 10 minutes saw the Shannonsiders register a 2-8 to 0-9 victory at Mick Neville Park Rathkeale.

It leaves Clare needing to win their final round game against Tipperary next week to have a shot at progressing to the Phase One final.
Coughlan felt his side showed good spirit in their second half fightback, but said they had left themselves too much to do.
