Kilmurry Ibrickane boss Enda Coughlan says his side have plenty of areas to work on, despite a second half surge that saw them qualify for the senior championship quarter finals.
The Bricks delivered a strong third quarter showing to dispatch Lissycasey 1-16 to 0-12 in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chiosóg.
Daniel Walsh hit 1-1 for the 2020 champions with Conor Burke and Daryn Callinan both nailing orange flags in the second half.
Coughlan says they have to improve on their first half performance.
Elsewhere, Miltown are eyeing up Éire Óg in Round 3, with the winner taking top spot in Group 1.
Sean O’Brien’s side netted three times with Colin Hayes also saving a penalty as they defeated Cratloe 3-13 to 20 points.
He’s praising the resilience they showed to hold off what Cratloe threw at them in the final minutes.
