Corofin Brush Off Lorrha Dorrha To Secure Place In Munster Intermediate Hurling Semi-Finals

Corofin have defeated Tipperary’s Lorrha Dorrha to progress to the Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship Semi-Finals.

A goal in the opening minute from Man of the Match Diarmuid Cahill set the North Clare men on course for an early lead.

Lorrha Dorrha managed to pull one back and the two sides found themselves just four points apart at half-time with a scoreline of Corofin 1-10 Lorrha Dorrha 1-6.

Joe Cahill’s side seized control after the break with two more goals from Diarmuid Cahill as well as points from Gearoid Cahill, Gearoid Kelly, James Organ and Jamie Malone securing the win.
