Tom Kenny and Daniel Kearney form the midfield for Cork while Manager Jimmy Barry Murphy has included championship debutant Seamus Harnedy at centre-forward for the game at the Gaelic Grounds.
Full-back Brian Murphy will captain the side in the absence of Pa Cronin who’s on the bench having recovered from illness.
Corner-back Stephen McDonnell also returns to the side after a lengthy injury lay-off and Stephen Moylan starts at corner forward.
