Cork Minors Too Strong For Clare

Clare’s Minor side have been beaten in the Munster Minor Hurling Final this afternoon.

Four goals – two from Evan Sheehan, one from Barry Murphy and a late one from Robert Downey – helped the Rebels to an easy win, the final score in Semple Stadium was 4-21 to 16 points.

A late consolation goal attempt from Tiernan Agnew, who scored eight of the Banner’s points, was blocked by Cork’s Ger Collins.
