Lar Corbett is out for the next six weeks with a rib injury.
The former hurler of the year spent time in hospital on Sunday night following their league final loss to Kilkenny at Nowlan Park.

Corbett was sent off in the second along with Cats defender JJ Delaney but it’s being reported that Tipp will appeal that card, as it stands the player would be suspended for their Championship opener with Limerick on June 9th.
