New Clare ladies football board chairman Alan Copley feels getting under-age mentors for sides as well as continuing the work of under-age development squads is the key challenge facing the board in 2012.
The Banner clubman was last night selected as Johnny Hayes’ replacement as chairman while Trudy Davenport succeeded Christy O Connor as treasurer at the association AGM in Ennis.
The meeting also heard the finances of the board are in a healthy state,with the treasurers report showing a surplus of almost 10 thousand euro for the past 12 months.
