Cooraclare took victory over St Breckan’s this afternoon in the first round of this year’s Clare Senior Football Championship.
John Donnellan’s side rejected a second half resurgence from St Breckan’s to finish on a 15 point to 1-9 win.
A penalty from Dale Masterson hit the back of the net but the deficit was too much for Brian Conway’s men to overcome.
