The O'Callaghans Mills man is the only nominee for the position, with all other officers set to continue unopposed.
33 motions will be discussed by delegates, including one calling for the Clare Senior Football Championship to be reduced from 16 teams to 12 in 2018.
The meeting gets underway in the Auburn Lodge Hotel from 6.15pm
