Cooney Defends Board’s Cusack Cup Approach

The Clare County Board Chairperson has rejected claims that they’re not doing enough to secure the future of football’s Cusack Cup.

It’s after Kilmurry Ibrickane manager Aidan Moloney criticised the County Board’s approach to dealing with clubs playing in the competition.

The Bricks clinched their seventh consecutive Cusack Cup title on Sunday, but afterwards Moloney accused the County Board of not doing enough to protect the competition’s future.
