Clare’s Ailish Considine has announced her retirement from the Australian Women’s Football League.
The Kilmihil woman made her debut for the Adelaide Crows in 2019 as their first international recruit, before going on to win two Premiership titles.
She was the first Irishwoman to win an AFLW title, kicking one of her nine goals for the club in the Grand Final.
She recently moved to the North Melbourne Kangaroo’s as a replacement player, but made just one appearance this season.
After six seasons across two clubs, dual premiership player Ailish Considine has called time.
Congratulations @Duckyc7, we all wish you the best for your next chapter #Kangas
