Conlon Set To Make First Senior Start In Over A Year Against Antrim

John Conlon is set for his first competitive start for the Clare senior hurlers in over a year in their league opener on Sunday.

Brian Lohan’s men travel to Corrigan Park in Belfast to to take on Antrim in the first of five Division 1B fixtures to be played over the next six weekends.

Conlon damaged his cruciate ligament in March of last year and sat out the 2020 championship campaign, along with Colm Galvin who is continuing his recovery from a groin injury.

Boss Brian Lohan says while Conlon is ready to play a part at the weekend, Galvin is a bit further away from a return to action.
