Clare forward John Conlon has revealed that he predicted Clare’s All Ireland win straight after the Munster semi-final loss to Cork.
That defeat to the eventual beaten finalists provided much motivation to Davy Fitzgerald’s side as they took the back door route to their first All-Ireland crown win in 16 years.
Clonlara club man John Conlon received a concussion injury in that 8 point loss back in June, but while recovering, made what turned out to be the perfect prediction
Meanwhile, there has been a change to the arrangements for tomorrow night’s GOAL challenge, which will see Clare’s hurling heroes take to the field once more. The fundraising exhibition will now take place in Sixmilebridge, and will see a Clare A and B selection go head to head at O’Garney Park from 7:30.
