A double All Ireland winning Clare captain says it would be a huge boost to the squad if John Conlon could win his race to be fit for Sunday's Munster Semi Final.
The Clonlara man missed both recent meetings with Waterford due to an ankle injury, but has recently returned to light training.
Manager Davy Fitzgerald has stated Conlon has a fifty/fifty change of making the matchday squad for the clash, and Fitzgerald's former team mate Anthony Daly feels it could be a vital move.
Throw in at Semple Stadium on Sunday is at 4pm
