Clonlara’s John Conlon has hailed his side’s resilience after overturning a ten-point deficit to be crowned Clare Cup Champions on Sunday.
The South-East Clare men had been trailing by 2-08 to 0-04 early in the second half against Inagh-Kilnamona before launching a spirited comeback to claim the title by the minimum.

Attentions now turn to the first round of the championship, where a derby awaits against last year’s beaten finalists Sixmilebridge.
Captain Conlon says the addition of fresh blood to the panel has been a major lift in preparations.
