In news from the community games, where Judo and Volleyball competitions were staged.
In the Boys competition, Brian McDonagh of Ennis St. John’s was victorious, along with Nicky Hardiman, Padraig Cahill, Aodhan O’Shea and Ben Cosgrove all of Doora/Barefield.

Roisin Cahill, Emma Culliney, Aoife O’Doherty, Eimear O’Doherty and Ciara Cahil, also of Doora/Barefield, were victorious in the Girls competition along with Carissa Mulqueen and Tara Walsh of Ennis St. John’s.
Each of the winners go forward to represent Clare in the Munster Finals in July.
There was further success for Doora/Barefield in the Volleyball Competition, where they recorded a win over Quin/Clooney in the final.
