Clondegad took a comfortable win over Kilkee in their first game of the 2017 Senior Football Championship.
Six points from Clare Football Captain Gary Brennan aided Clondegad to a 1-17 to 0-9 point victory over Kevin Shaloo’s side.
The clash was a repeat of the sides’ 2016 meeting where Clondegad took a decisive win in the third round of the Championship.

Cooraclare took a 15 point to 1-9 victory over St Breckan’s.
Eire Og beat Corofin in Cusack Park – that game finished up 3-10 to 1-3.
Ger Kelly’s Lisseycasey overcame St Joseph’s Doora Barefield on a 1-12 to 1-6 score.
Meanwhile, Ennistymon and Cratloe will be the last two teams to begin their Championship campaigns this evening.
