Clare senior football manager Colm Collins has paid tribute to Clare stalwart David Tubridy describing him as ‘A class act in every way’.
David Tubridy announced his retirement from the Clare senior footballers earlier this week following a glittering fifteen year campaign.
Tubridy pulled on the Saffron & Blue jersey for the first time in 2007 in the Tommy Murphy Cup against Tipperary, scoring 0-08 on his debut.
The Doonbeg clubman became the all time leading scorer in the National Football League in 2021 after amassing a total of 22-412, while also forming a key component of the Clare Senior Footballer’s Division 3 National Football League Triumph in 2016.
Clare Manager Colm Collins says Tubridy would have made any team in the country.
