Clare senior footballer Podge Collins will undergo surgery on his cruciate ligament on July 7th.

The Cratloe dual star suffered the injury during his sides opening round defeat to Ballye in the Clare Senior Hurling Championship last weekend.
The news of the extent of the damage was revealed after Collins went to the Santry Sports Clinic the following morning, and is set to miss the rest of the 2015 campaign for both club and county.
Clare take on Cork next Sunday in the Munster Football Semi Final in Pairc Ui Rinn.
