2013 All Ireland winner Podge Collins says persistent injury issues in recent years were the reason behind his decision to step away from the intercounty scene.
The Cratloe clubman will not be part of the Clare football or hurling panel in 2024 for the first time in over a decade.

During his time in the county jersey, he won an All Ireland hurling title, along with the National Hurling League and Division Three football league crowns, while he was also an All Star in 2013.
