Former Clare senior football manager Colm Collins is claiming the circumstances surrounding the vote for the return of a seeded structure to the Munster senior football championship “stinks to high heaven”.
It comes after Limerick GAA outlined their reasons for supporting the vote, despite their own squad and management directing that they wished to join Clare, Tipperary and Waterford in opposing the move.

The Limerick Leader reported that secretary Mike O’Riordan outlined to their delegates that the county board would benefit to the tune of €25,000 as part of a series of initiatives included with the return of the seeded structure.
