Cratloe manager Colm Collins, who has taken charge of the Clare footballers, is hopeful the Banner county will have as many as four dual players next year.
The Cratloe team yesterday featured eight All Ireland medal winners from 2013 between Seniors and Under 21’s, 3 of which are Hurling All Stars in Conor Ryan, Conor McGrath and Podge Collins.
The emergence of dual Club Cratloe as this years football champions, has fuelled the debate of players fulfilling dual mandates.
Collins has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus he is optimistic hurling and football management can reach a compromise.
