Clare’s longest serving intercounty football manager feels the appointment of Paul Madden to the role will bring a positive atmosphere to the game in the county.
It is just less than a week since the Eire Óg man was unveiled as the new manager, having helped his native club to three senior football championships in his time in charge of the Townies.

Madden is currently in the process of assembling his backroom team, with further details on that expected at the next meeting of Clare GAA in September.
