Collins: Fatigue not an issue for Cratloe

Cratloe manager Colm Collins has dimissed any notions that fatigue played a part in his sides loss against the Nire in the Munster Club Football Semi Final.

The dual Clare county champions were bidding to be the first side since 1980 to reach both Munster Club Finals, but a 1-13 to 2-8 extra time loss against the Deise outfit saw that dream come to an end.

Back to back county football titles were achieved in 2014 for Cratloe, while they also became the first side in a century to win both the Clare county football and hurling titles in the same year.

Two late points in extra time for the Nire secured victory in their semi final clash, and Collins says tiredness wasnt an issue for his side

The Nire now play Austin Stacks of Kerry in the final after they beat Cork side Ballincollig by 0-15 to 1-9, that one also after extra time.

That's been fixed for Pairc Ui Rinn in Cork on Sunday November 30th.
