Clare come into the game off the back of a disappointing loss to Tipperary a fortnight ago, while the Treatymen are searching for their first win.

The sides met in last years league when Limerick emerged winners, with Clare reversing the result when they met in the Munster Championship.

Selector David O'Brien says it's a game that could go either way.

Throw in on Sunday is at 2pm in Newcastlewest, live commetary here on Clare FM in association with Maloney's Garden machinery Smithstown and Maloneys Expert hardware Skycourt shopping centre Shannon.

Fixture details have been confirmed for Clare's opening game of the Munster U21 football championship.

The Banner will face Cork under lights in Cooraclare in the provincial quarter final on Wednesday March 9th at 7.30pm.

The winner face Waterford in the last four with the losers seeing their year come to an end.
