Former Clare boss Colm Collins has been appointed to the new Gaelic Football Review.

The Cratloe clubman joins the likes of Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Malachy O’Rourke and Colm Nally, with the group being headed up by five in a row winning Dublin manager Jim Gavin.

The group has been put together by new GAA President Jarlath Burns with a view to developing proposals to improve the game as a spectacle.

It is expected the group will put forward an interim report by December, with proposals going to a Special Congress late next year.
