The majority of this weekend's action in the Clare Senior Hurling Championship has been postponed.
The game between Broadford and Scarriff will go ahead, but matches involving Ballyea and Clooney-Quin, O'Callaghan's Mills and St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield, Wolfe Tones and Eire Og and Cratloe and Sixmilebridge will all be held at a later date.
It follows the decision of the county senior hurling management to invoke a 13-day rule, keeping senior panellists out of club action ahead of Clare's Qualifier clash with Wexford on July 5th.
This was given the green light by the Clare Central Competitions Control Committee last night.
The eight clubs met with the County Board last night, and Chairman Michael McDonagh has confirmed to Clare FM that alternative dates have been offered.
