Elsewhere in hurling news, last evening’s  Division 6 League Final between St. Senan’s Kilkee and Clonbony did not go ahead as scheduled.

A spokesman for Kilkee has told Clare FM the club made the decision not to field as three of their players are due to be involved in the Clare Junior panel for today’s match with Cork.

The club say they will be looking for the game to be re-fixed.

In the Division 5 Final of the Football leagues, Coraclare had a point to spare over Clondegad, winning 0-9 to 0-8.
