Clonlara boss Sean Stack says his team will be going up against title contenders this Saturday, when they meet O'Callaghan's Mills in Round 2 of the Clare Senior Championship.
Both teams go into the game on the back of strong performances in their last matches.
Clonlara needed a replay, but recorded an eight point win over Clarecastle, while O'Callaghans Mills recorded a 15-point victory over Tubber.
Stack says this performance, as well as others in the Clare Cup, show the Mills are a force to be reckoned with.
Elsewhere in the winner's round this weekend Crusheen are battling injury worries ahead of their meeting with Sixmilebridge.
Paddy Vaughan is among the players who will definitely be out for the 2011 champions, along with Jamie Fitzgibbon, while other players are touch and go.
