The manager of the Clonlara Senior Hurlers is hailing his squad’s resolve following a historic day for the club.
The South-East Clare men qualified for their first ever provincial decider on Sunday following a dramatic 0-23 to 1-19 victory over Kiladangan of Tipperary at Semple Stadium, Thurles.
Eighteen Year-Old Diarmuid Stritch provided the clinching score for the Clare champions, who will now face Waterford kingpins, Ballygunner in the Munster Final on the weekend of December 2nd.
Clonlara Boss Donal Madden says its a proud occasion for the parish.
