Clonlara are celebrating their third ever TUS Clare senior hurling championship title.
The south-east Clare side overcame Crusheen by 3-18 to 2-16 as they bridged a 15 year gap since their last crown.
Clonlara manager Donal Madden, who was part of the winning squad in 2008, says it is a victory that will resonate throughout their club.
Meanwhile Clonara’s man of the match is praising the collective effort within their group in seeing out the win.
A tally of 2-9 from Micheal O’Loughlin was a central part to the win, with former county star Colm Galvin also finding the net.
O’Loughlin says it was a day where players took control of their own destiny.
