Clonlara boss Donal Madden is thanking those who have offered well wishes and support to the club following a serious hand injury to John Conlon.
The injury is expected to see the two time All Ireland winner sidelined for the rest of the campaign after suffering the injury a fortnight ago.
Clonlara made it two wins from two with a 3-21 to 0-12 win over Doora Barefield, with a haul of 2-10 from captain Ian Galvin.
Madden says it was difficult to plan without one of their key leaders, but others stepped up when needed.
Meanwhile, Broadford boss Paddy Meehan is praising his side for a storming second half turnaround kept their season alive.
Niall O’Farrell registered an incredible personal tally of 3-14 as they turned a six point half time deficit into an eighteen point victory.
Meehan says players grew in belief as the game wore on.
